Artist Bio

Eriel Milan Brown is a New York City-based actor, singer, dancer, and choreographer. Eriel made audiences smile across the nation with her National Tour debut in Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood demonstrating her impeccable dancing, along with her ever sunny disposition. This season, she performs in the regional premiere of The Prom at White Plains Performing Arts Center.

Recently, Eriel made her off-Broadway debut in Sewps, the world premiere musical that she helped create while at UC Irvine. Her notable performances in iconic dance roles such as Velma Kelly in Chicago and Serena in Legally Blonde makes one question when the world will be graced with her performance of the roles once again. Eriel is not just a dancer- she can also lead a show, as evidenced by her starring turns as Babe Williams in The Pajama Game and Esther Mills in Intimate Apparel.

Other recent regional credits include appearing in Ronette in Little Shop of Horrors, Gary Coleman in Avenue Q, and the ensemble of South Pacific.

She graduated from the University of California, Irvine with a BFA in Musical Theatre. While there, she homed in on her dance training, realizing her passion for choreography, which she recently showed off as the choreographer for Alexander and the Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day at Northampton Community College Summer Theatre. Her ability to pick up choreographer quickly has also allowed for her to excel as a Dance Captain which she most recently served as on Rent and Something Rotten at Northampton Community College Summer Theatre. When she is not performing, Eriel loves baking and selling cookies with her online business, spending time with family and friends, and watching movies.
