In the Yiddish, Off-Broadway box office hit, Fiddler on the Roof, Raynor played Yosl, breathing life into exuberant and reverent dances of Anatevka, including the beloved bottle dance. He returns to the production’s run at New World Stages this season, where he performs in the Ensemble and understudies Fyedke. Nick Raynor’s dance is athletic, expressive, and grounded in impeccable technique. In the international tour of West Side Story, Raynor brought grace and intensity to the iconic Jerome Robbins choreography.

Nick Raynor is a true triple threat, combining a classically trained voice, detailed character work, and extensive dance training. His stage presence is intelligent, exuberant, and intensely physical.

In the Yiddish, Off-Broadway box office hit, Fiddler on the Roof, Raynor played Yosl, breathing life into exuberant and reverent dances of Anatevka, including the beloved bottle dance. He returns to the production’s run at New World Stages this season, where he performs in the Ensemble and understudies Fyedke. Nick Raynor’s dance is athletic, expressive, and grounded in impeccable technique. A versatile performer, Raynor also shines in classic, Golden Age musicals. In the national tour of Guys and Dolls, he brought joy and humor to high-rollers of the New York gambling underworld, Scranton Slim and imbued his signature energy and wit into his work in the national tour of The Producers. Raynor also flourishes in dramatic roles. In the national tour of A Chorus Line, he was quietly brilliant as the sensitive, intellectual, driven dancer Mark Anthony.

Also a favorite of Equity Regional houses, Raynor portrayed the Leading Player in Tibbits Opera House’s Pippin, acted as dance captain in Tommy at Woodstock Playhouse, appeared in Beauty and the Beast at Ogunquit Playhouse and Chicago at Ivoryton Playhouse.

Additionally, Raynor made a memorable appearance on Ryan Murphy’s The Glee Project on the Oxygen Network, chosen as a semi-finalist out of thousands of performers.

Raynor is a graduate of the Mason Gross School of the Arts at Rutgers University with a Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance and a minor in Dance, including modern, jazz and ballet. Raynor additionally received training at ICON Dance Complex in contemporary, hip hop and ballet.
