Emily Trumble is a versatile singer, dancer, and actor originally from Berkeley, California. After receiving her BFA in Musical Theatre from the college conservatory of music at the University of Cincinnati, she joined the first national tour of The Sound of Music, directed by Jack O’Brien, where she understudied and performed the roles of Maria and Liesl. Other touring credits include Something Rotten (u/s Bea). She made her NY debut at the historic Public Theatre as the standby for Hillary Clinton in Soft Power– a show she can also be heard on the Grammy nominated cast album of. Some of her previous credits include Man of La Mancha at Pittsburgh Civic Light Opera, Pirates! at the Muny, Our Town at Berkeley Rep, A Midsummer Night’s Dream at California Shakespeare Festival. You can also catch Emily performing in drag at various venues in NYC. Upcoming, she’ll be performing in a queer workshop of Guys and Dolls at Roundabout Theatre Company.
