BIOGRAPHY
Alain Pierre is a union stage, TV, commercial, and VO performer who works in both Los Angeles and New York. This season, he’ll show off his comedic chops in What Passes for Comedy at The Chain Theatre and will appear in Harlan Coben’s Shelter.
Alain’s credits include TLC’s Sex Sent Me to the E.R., TV Land’s The Exes, and Disney Channel’s Sonny with a Chance opposite Demi Lovato, and The Exes. He’s also appeared in lead roles in countless short films, including in Damage Control, The Roof Above Us, Getting to Know You, The Manual, and Gerls. Alain also appeared in new media, including Comedy Central’s White Flight, Cinematic, Living with Strangers, and a recurring role in Dr. 1UP.
Alain’s regional credits include Antonio in Twelfth Night, George in All My Sons, Witness for the Prosecution, Lobby Hero, Opportunity, Laughter on the 23rd Floor, Our Ms Brooks, and Some Girls.
He studied at Groundlings after attending the Webster University Conservatory of Fine Arts. In LA he was a part of 30 Minute Musicals and Fairytales Against Humanity on comedy stages across the city, print and commercials for Playstation and T-Mobile, and regularly did ADR and Looping for film and television. Since coming to NYC Alain has done theatre, joined Actor’s Equity, and become a member of Story Pirates. He’s done training at Stella Adler and UCB and frequently performed sketch ensemble shows at The PIT.
