BIOGRAPHY

Emily Trumble is a versatile singer, dancer, and actor originally from Berkeley, California. After receiving her BFA in Musical Theatre from the College Conservatory of Music at the University of Cincinnati, she joined the first National Tour of The Sound of Music, directed by Jack O’Brien, where she understudied and performed the roles of Maria and Liesl. She made her NY debut at the historic Public Theatre as the standby for Hillary Clinton in Soft Power– a show she can also be heard on the Grammy nominated cast album of.

Emily got her start as a child actor, appearing in the heartbreaking spelling drama Bee Season.  Some of her previous credits include Man of La Mancha at Pittsburgh Civic Light Opera and Pirates!  at the iconic Muny in St. Louis. Emily thinks fondly of her time in Our Town at Berkeley Rep and A Midsummer Night’s Dream at California Shakespeare Festival, as she loved performing close to home. Recently, she performed in a workshop of a reimagined queerGuys and Dolls at Roundabout Theatre Company. You can also catch Emily performing in drag at various venues in NYC.
