BIOGRAPHY

Monique Paige is an energetic and captivating actress, and a recent graduate of The American Academy of Dramatic Arts in New York City. Recently, she performed in a virtual staged reading of Episode with Metropolitan Playhouse. Paige has made history by performing in the first African American play ever produced and performed at the Barnstormers Theatre, playing the role of Bernice in the August Wilson play Piano Lesson.


Some of her recent performances include the lead role of Mama Nadi in the Pulitzer Prize winning play by Lynn Nottage, Ruined. Monique has worked in numerous productions in the northeast, including Othello, Back to the Old Landmark, Zooman and the Sign, and Breathe Boom, as well as Goliath, for which she was nominated for best actress in the Planet Connection Festival in New York City.
