BIOGRAPHY

Alyssa Giannetti is a classically trained singer and actor based out of New York City. She is a graduate of Northwestern University where she received a BM in Voice & Opera Performance, as well as, a minor in Choral Music Education and a certificate in Musical Theatre Performance. Originally from Bloomfield Hills, MI, Alyssa made her professional debut while touring with the 1st National Tour of Love Never Diesthe sequel to The Phantom of the Operaas the Christine Daaé Understudy and Ensemble Swing. She recently returned to singing Andrew Lloyd Webber hits in the World Premiere of UNMASKED: The Music of Andrew Lloyd Webber at Paper Mill Playhouse. This past season, she performed in a Sondheim Cabaret with Princeton Symphony and made her long-awaited Muny debut in Mary Poppins, tapping alongside Corbin Bleu and understudying Erin Davie. Thanks to Alyssa’s extensive training in voice, she can effortlessly change vocal styles, which she gets to show as the Rehearsal Swing for Six on Norwegian Cruise lines, where she’ll be joining the Queendom for covering the roles of Catherine Howard, Catherine of Aragon, and Jane Seymour.

Alyssa is a champion of new works, as evidenced by her work on the world premiere of Far from Canterbury at Barnstormers Theatre. She’s shown off her legit chops in roles such as Phoebe D’ysquith in A Gentleman’s Guide to Love and Murder and Cosette in Les Misérables. As evidenced in her national tour debut and her work on Six, she can effortlessly cover multiple roles, as shown in her Off-Broadway debut in Finding Madame Curie, where she covered the title role as well as the role of Irene.
