BIOGRAPHY
Christin Byrdsong is a versatile actor versed in numerous genres who regularly earns critical acclaim. Broadway World recently hailed: “The grand power of his voice sent chills up my arms more than once.” Christin’s voice has sent chills across the nation, most recently on the national tour of The Lion King where he has been seen as Simba in select performances.
Christin’s versatility is shown through the many genres of music and performance type that he has appeared in. He helped create the role of Little Richard in Shout Sister Shout! and had audiences worshipping at his feet as Jesus in Jesus Christ Superstar three times. Christin showed off his drag as Belize in Angels in America and his legit chops as Beadle Bamford in Sweeney Todd. Other credits include Man 1 in Songs for A New World, and Ken in Smokey Joe’s Cafe, to name a few. Christin’s talents are not just limited to the stage - on camera, he can be viewed in commercials for national brands including JCPenny, RadioShack, and Hasbro Toys.
