MEG AT A GLANCE​

Meg is a multi-faceted Artist with interests spanning many genres. In addition to a robust career in opera, she’s a pianist, part of the Midnight Cricket Club (Bluegrass-fusion band), and recently created the Creede Musical Arts Collective, a 501c3 co-founded with her husband Michael Mayes. Her training includes a Master of Music (University of Colorado), a Bachelor of Music with a multi-discipline concentration in classical, jazz, voice & piano (University of Southern Maine), and many prestigious American young artist programs. She was honored with numerous awards & competition wins that helped bridge the gap between her training & professional career. Growing up in the Philadelphia area, she spent her formative years studying piano & acting in local & regional theaters. A believer in the greater collective good, Meg was an active board member of AGMA, serving on multiple committees & negotiations from 2019-2022. She holds dual citizenship in America & Italy.
