BIOGRAPHY

Hailing from Los Angeles, Phil Rice is an actor quickly making a name for himself in television. Most recently, Phil landed a recurring role on the second season of Paramount’s hit show, Mayor of Kingstown opposite Jeremy Renner. Phil also appeared in the sixth season finale of NBC’s cop drama, Chicago P.D. and Fox’s critically acclaimed drama Empire. Other screen credits include the role of Phil in the digitally released TV series Roomies, Agrippa Postumus in Ovid: The Art of Love, a retelling of the famed Ancient Roman poet Ovid’s life set in contemporary Detroit, starring Corbin Bleu, and several other short films including The Last Meal, Checkpoints, and The New USA.


On the regional stage, Phil’s credits include Booth in Topdog/Underdog, Albert/Kevin in Clybourne Park, Prince of Morocco in The Merchant of Venice, Cinna in Julius Caesar, Tybalt in Romeo and Juliet, Val in Orpheus Descending, Father Toulon in Red Noses, Borachio in Much Ado About Nothing, and King Creon in Gospel at Colonus.


Phil holds a BFA in acting from the University of Michigan and is stage combat certified with the Society of American Fight Directors. When he’s not acting, Phil is creating and distributing music/fashion on behalf of his own entertainment label, Dude Lifestyle.
