BIOGRAPHY

Sabina Lueras is a singer, actor, and dancer based in New York. Born and raised in Albuquerque, New Mexico, she is no stranger to daydreaming in lands of enchantment. Sabina’s passion for performance and movement began at age 8 at the ice rink as a competitive figure skater, and she continues to bring a celebration of risk taking and desire to fly through the air into rehearsal rooms and onstage adventures alike.

Some of her favorite credits include: The Mistress in Evita (Jean’s Playhouse), Luisa in The Fantasticks (Vortex Theatre), The Baker's Wife in Into the Woods (Ithaca College), Mary in The Language Archive (Ithaca College).

Other credits include Mabel in The Pirates of Penzance, Featured Ensemble/ Mimi cover in Rent, Customer/ Amalia Cover in She Loves Me, and Michelle in Sister Act.

Sabina has a love for new works, having performed in the lead role of Andrea in Hijasat Jeans Playhouse, and as the “How You Thought It Would Be” soloist in Open, Stay with The Masked Collective.

Her penchant for performing extends to onscreen as well, appearing in CENTSdirected by Christopher Boone, and in a ASRT corporate video.

Sabina recently graduated from Ithaca College with a BFA in Musical Theatre.
