BIOGRAPHY
Robbie Simpson is an actor and director whose talents are not limited to one medium, as he often shines on stage, on screen, and on his podcast. He is best known for his recurring role as Chad on ABC’s General Hospital. Additional television credits include Hulu’s The Path, AMC’s Dietland, and SyFy’s Horror Movie. Off-Broadway credits include the original cast of the critically acclaimed Afterglow and Paradise Lostas well as work with The Mint, The Gingold Group, and The Juilliard School. This season, he serves as Associate Director for Scarlett Dreams Off-Broadway, directs Afterglow at Southwark Playhouse in London, directs The Charlie Brown Christmas national tour, and performs as Jimmy in Theatre Project’s The Lady Slipper.
Regional credits include Freddy Eynsford-Hill in the 100th anniversary production of Shaw’s Pygmalionat The Old Globe opposite Robert Sean Leonard, Pip in Great Expectations at Syracuse Stage, the world premiere of Nonsense and Beauty at The Repertory Theater of St. Louis, Deathtrap at the Cape Playhouse, What The Butler Saw and Misalliance at The Shakespeare Theater of New Jersey, A Class Act at Berkshire Theater Festival, Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf? at New Century Theater, and most recently, Tom in The Glass Menagerie at The Majestic Theater.
