AGENT | Classical & Artist Promotion

Elliot Harrison Brown is a veteran administrator, performer, and advocate, with a lifetime of experience in the arts. He joined the team at UIA Talent Agency as a Classical Agent shortly after their merger with ADA Artist Management in summer 2023. He maintains a growing and diverse roster of talented singers and creatives, in addition to focusing special attention on artist promotion for the entire UIA classical roster.

Previously, he spent five years as the Director of Marketing for New York City Opera, where he led communications, marketing, and development initiatives for the company, with special attention to the mission statement, brand continuity, DEI, and specific initiatives, including NYCO’s Ópera en Español and Pride series and the inaugural Duncan Williams Voice Competition. Among myriad other projects, Elliot worked closely with the creative teams for NYCO’s world premieres of The Garden of the Finzi-Continis, Dear Erich, and Stonewall, in honor of the 50th anniversary of the Stonewall Uprising.

For many years, Elliot worked as a professional opera singer and actor, performing with companies such as Cincinnati Opera, Indianapolis Opera, Chautauqua Opera, Kentucky Opera, and Starlight Theatre. Prior to City Opera, Elliot worked with the Lyric Opera of Kansas City, first as their baritone Resident Artist and later behind the scenes in marketing and special events. He appeared in their productions of Eugene Onegin, Dead Man Walking, L’elisir d’amore, Tosca, Silent Night, L’italiana in Algeri, La Traviata, Die Fledermaus, La bohème, Die Zauberflöte, and I Capuleti e i Montecchi.

Elliot holds Bachelor of Music and Master of Music degrees in Voice Performance from the College-Conservatory of Music at the University of Cincinnati and did postgraduate work at the University of Missouri-Kansas City.
