Renowned composer Tobias Picker's latest opera centers around the Danish painter Lili Elbe, who was one of the first persons to undergo gender affirmation surgery. Lili Elbe will receive its world premiere this fall at Theater St. Gallen in Switzerland and will star powerhouse baritone Lucia Lucas in the title role.
